Sorry to hear about Doreen. I remember her and Arnold when I was at Pinetown Presby many years ago. May Father comfort you and all the family at this time.
Amazingly I found your site through a friend Victor Braun when I was reading his latest adventures today. The Lord definitely works in mysterious ways. Gus I remember your input at Camp J as well. One of the pictures on your site has "someone" who almost looks identical to you in your younger days in Durban.

This note is a little late I am afraid but I have just picked up this blogsite from Rod Smiths blogsite.
My deepest sympathies go to all of you on the loss of Doreen. I remember her and Arnold from Hillcrest Presby and Gus and Clare from St George's on the Bluff. In fact, Gus officated at my wedding.
I too cannot believe how much Delvyn looks like the "young Gus" - the apple certainly didn't fall far from the tree there.
I remember you with such fondness and it is wonderful to see that you are still continuing with God's work with as much zeal as ever.
